Fall Family Camp

Join us for Fall Family Camp at Camp Minsi — a relaxed & fun weekend in the Poconos for Packs, Dens or families. Stay overnight Friday-Sunday or join us for just Saturday. Either way, everyone is welcome.

  • Flexible format: camp the whole weekend, or come for Saturday only.

  • Perfect for newer Scouts to experience camp and for seasoned units to recharge.

Saturday Programs - Pick and Choose

All activities are drop-in/come-and-go so you can enjoy at your pace. Highlights include:

  • “History of Scouting” displays by Heritage Committee
  • STEM/NOVA activities
  • Open fishing (bring your gear & bait)
  • Nature hikes (times to be announced at morning colors)
  • BB guns & Archery ranges (weather permitting) 

What to Bring

Pack for a comfortable fall camping weekend. Here’s your checklist:

  • Tent, sleeping bag and warm bedding
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (cool nights; layers advised)
  • Cooking gear if you’ll prepare meals at your site
  • Water bottle and outdoor hydration gear
  • Fishing gear and bait if you plan to fish
  • Outdoor shoes for hikes and activities
  • Flashlight/headlamp, camp chair
  • Rain jacket and extra socks (just in case)
  • Any medications, personal hygiene items, and Scout uniform as desired

FAQ

Absolutely — come for the day if you prefer. Overnight is optional.

Youth fee covers the campsite, program supplies and a patch. Meals are the attendees’ responsibility.

Sites will be assigned by camp staff after registration/payment.
