To help your Cub Scout have a safe, comfortable, and fun week at camp, please review this packing list carefully. All items should be labeled with your Scout’s name.

Cub Scouts will be active all day, so pack for outdoor adventure, changing weather, and lots of fun!

Clothing

• Official Cub Scout field uniform for flag ceremonies and special events
• Comfortable activity clothes for outdoor play
• Extra socks and underwear
• Closed toe athletic shoes
• Water shoes or sandals with a heel strap for waterfront
• Swimsuit
• Lightweight jacket or sweatshirt for cool evenings
• Rain jacket or poncho
• Pajamas
• Hat for sun protection

Bedding

• Sleeping bag or twin sheets and blankets
• Pillow
• Twin fitted sheet for mattress

Toiletries

• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Soap and shampoo
• Towel and washcloth
• Deodorant if needed
• Hairbrush or comb
• Sunscreen
• Insect repellent

Camp Essentials

• Refillable water bottle
• Flashlight with extra batteries
• Small daypack or backpack
• Shower shoes
• Laundry bag
• Any required medical forms
• Clearly labeled medications turned in according to camp procedures

Optional Items

• Sunglasses
• Small battery powered fan
• Book or quiet time activity
• Camera
• Modest spending money for the trading post

Please Do Not Bring

• Electronic devices, tablets, or gaming systems
• Fireworks or matches
• Pocketknives
• Personal sports equipment
• Food or snacks that attract wildlife
